Baker McKenzie advises on €5bn Bankia commercial paper programme

A Madrid-based Baker McKenzie advised the arranger and dealers on the establishment of a €5 billion commercial paper programme by Bankia.

The programme arranger was Barclays Bank and the dealer group comprised Barclays Bank Ireland, Barclays Bank, Bankia, BNP Paribas, Crédite Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, Credit Suisse Securities (Europe), Goldman Sachs International, HPC, ING Bank, Société Générale and UBS Europe.

The Madrid-based Baker McKenzie team included Ignacio Corujo (pictured), Carlos Martin and Modesto Puerta.
