Ayala de la Torre Abogados appoints Santiago Martínez Lage as its new president
Ayala de la Torre Abogados has appointed Santiago Martínez Lage as its new president. He was appointed at the request of José María Ayala de la Torre, managing partner and state lawyer.
Diplomat, expert in european law and independent arbitrator, Santiago was president of Martínez Lage, Allendesalazar & Brokelmann, which he founded in 1985. A leading law firm in Spain in European Union and Competition Law.
In 2020 he became an independent arbitrator and president of an Arbitral Tribunal. More than twenty years of experience in dispute resolution in arbitration proceedings. Former member of the Standing Committee of the Spanish Court of Arbitration and of its Commission for the Appointment of Arbitrators.
