Auren promotes two new partners

Auren has announced the internal promotion of two professionals to the rank of partner within its Legal division: Alejandro Serrano, new Compliance partner, and Pablo Martínez Varela, new Restructuring and Insolvency partner.

Alejandro Serrano, new Compliance partner

With a degree in Law and Business Administration and Management from the University of Zaragoza and a Master’s degree in Auditing from the University of Alcalá, Serrano has more than 15 years of experience in the sector. Before joining Auren in 2021, he developed his career at firms such as PwC, Augustus Capital, and Singular Bank.

Until now, he was Manager and Head of Regulatory Compliance for Regulated Entities at Auren, and now takes on the leadership role as Compliance Partner in the Auren Legal division.

Pablo Martínez Varela, new partner in Restructuring and Insolvency

He holds a degree in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid and is a member of the Madrid Bar Association. Pablo has a Master’s Degree in Labor Procedural Practice and Social Security Law, a Master’s Degree in Insolvency Administration, and a University Diploma in Advanced Specialised Restructuring of Companies in Crisis (Expert in Restructuring) from the Complutense University.

He is currently co-director of the Master’s Degree in Law and Advocacy at the European University of Madrid. He is a member of the Professional Association of Insolvency Administrators (ASPAC) and TMA. He also acts as an insolvency administrator throughout Spain. His promotion strengthens Auren Legal’s Restructuring department, bringing experience in complex processes, including insolvency, restructuring, and sales of production units.
