Auren Legal reaches 37.6 million euros in turnover and grows 13.1%
Auren continues to grow. The multidisciplinary firm has announced today its turnover results for the fiscal year 2023-2024, which amount to 96.2 million euros, 12.3% more than the previous year. Specifically, its legal area has invoiced 13.1% more than the previous year, reaching 37.6 million euros.
Mario Alonso, president of Auren has highlighted that “in this new year we expect to close several corporate operations that will mean a remarkable growth for the company”. He has also indicated that the firm will enhance services related to sustainability and energy efficiency, digitization, with a special focus on the application of Artificial Intelligence globally in all divisions and legal services related to insurance, banking law and securities market. “Our goal remains to help our clients in all their business needs, adapting to current challenges,” Alonso stressed.
Turnover by business line
The firm recorded a double-digit increase in the main business lines, which reinforces Auren’s commitment to a multidisciplinary professional services model. The legal division has invoiced 13.1% more than the previous year, reaching 37.6 million euros. The consulting division (People, Strategy and Processes and Technology) has been the one that has grown the most with an increase of 15.3%, contributing 33.2 million euros. The audit division grew by 12.4% to 22.7 million euros, while the corporate finance division added a total of 3 million euros.
During this year, Auren has carried out different corporate operations such as the integration of Carrau Corporación, a law and economist firm in Valencia, or ECM Asesores, experts in tax, labor and commercial advice. In addition, at the end of December 2023, Auren integrated the Portuguese law firm Cerejeira Namora Marinho Falcao (CNMF), an operation that has allowed the firm to offer all kinds of services to clients within the Iberian market.

During 2024, the firm has registered an 8% increase in the number of people, which translates into a total of 1,050 professionals spread across 15 offices in Spain. This increase reflects Auren’s commitment to consolidate a multidisciplinary team of experts ready to anticipate clients’ needs. “Our goal is to continue incorporating talent aligned with our values and our humanistic culture, based on trust and flexibility and that always puts people at the center,” said Mario Alonso.
Commitment to equality and sustainability
The firm also continues to promote equality and diversity as part of the II Equality Plan signed in 2023. Currently, 55% of Auren’s professionals are women and 35% of the executive and management positions are held by women. In addition, the firm has a women’s leadership program, Auren Woman Leadership, which aims to enhance the development and promotion of women to positions of greater responsibility.
The company is also committed to addressing new sustainability challenges and is committed to reducing its carbon footprint. The firm has implemented significant measures to reduce its environmental impact, reducing its electricity consumption by 5.2%, with 57.3% of this coming from renewable sources, and reducing emissions by around 6% compared to the previous year. “At Auren, being sustainable is part of our mission, and we work so that our clients are also sustainable,” said Alonso.
