Ashurst Perkins Coie hires Pérez-Puente as counsel
Ashurst Perkins Coie has reinforced its litigation and arbitration practice in Madrid with the arrival of Borja Pérez-Puente as counsel in the firm’s Madrid office.
Pérez-Puente joins Ashurst Perkins Coie from Three Crowns, a firm focused on international arbitration. He previously worked in the litigation and arbitration team at Clifford Chance. He has more than ten years of experience in complex litigation and in commercial and investment arbitration, representing companies and states in disputes across the aerospace, rail, technology, construction and energy sectors. He also acts as arbitrator in international disputes.

Pérez-Puente is currently co-coordinator of the -40 division of the Club Español e Iberoamericano del Arbitraje (CEIA-40), co-director of the International Arbitration Seminars and Courses (IASC), and co-founder and steering committee member of the Comillas Alumni International Arbitration Club. He regularly publishes and speaks on international arbitration matters.
He holds a double degree in Law and Business Administration from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE E3), and is a member of the Ilustre Colegio de la Abogacía de Madrid (ICAM) and the Colegio de Economistas de Madrid. He speaks Spanish, French and English.
