Araoz & Rueda acts for Charme Capital on Igenomix deal

An Araoz & Rueda team led by partner Pedro Rueda (pictured) advised Charme Capital Partners on the sale of a majority stake in Igenomix to investment fund EQT.

The Araoz & Rueda team also included senior associate Guillermo Bueno and associate Casilda Redondo.

Igenomix, headquartered in Valencia, Spain, uses technology to offer genetic testing services in reproductive medicine. It works with IVF (In-Vitro-Fertilization) clinics to help increase the chances of successful pregnancies and aid medical professionals in delivering healthier babies.

Igenomix has 15 laboratories in 13 countries and currently has a number of new patents undergoing pre-clinical studies.
