Antas da Cunha Ecija with Quadrante on business acquisition

Antas da Cunha Ecija has advised Quadrante on the acquisition of the engineering business unit of Geometric Talks. The deal brings into Quadrante a group of specialists who will reinforce the company’s Substations and Transmission and Distribution Lines departments within its Energy division, together with a project portfolio valued at approximately €750,000 spanning Portugal, the Middle East and Africa, concentrated mainly in the energy production, transmission and distribution segments.

Deal Details

The transaction, structured as a business transfer (Trespasse), includes the transfer of the client portfolio and contracts tied to the unit, the assets associated with its activity, the brand usage rights set out in the agreement and the related intellectual property. The operation is expected to increase Quadrante’s execution capacity at a time of heavy investment in the modernisation of electricity grids and the energy transition.
