Andersen signs lease with Gmp for new headquarters
Andersen has signed a lease agreement with real estate group Gmp for a building located at Calle Hermosilla 3 in Madrid. The property, spanning nearly 7,000 square metres, will serve as the firm’s new headquarters from September 2027, marking a significant step in its Iberian expansion strategy.
The new office is situated in the heart of Madrid’s Salamanca district, between Paseo de la Castellana and Calle Serrano. Designed by the studio Rafael de La-Hoz, the building holds LEED Platinum certification and an energy rating of A, and is aligned with the EU Taxonomy framework. Gmp will also carry out a series of upgrades to the property, including the addition of a wellness area with gym and changing rooms, landscaped zones, terraces, and collaborative spaces, states Andersen.
Growth context
The relocation is part of Andersen’s strategic plan, underpinned by recent growth in both revenue and headcount. Since 2020, the firm has increased its turnover by more than 255%, from €22.5 million to €80 million in 2025, while its workforce has grown from 254 to 544 professionals over the same period. Revenue in Iberia is projected to exceed €110 million by the end of 2026. The firm currently operates across Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Seville, Málaga, and Bilbao in Spain, and in Lisbon and Porto in Portugal, with a total of more than 590 professionals, including 131 partners.
José Vicente Morote, managing partner of Andersen, noted that the move to the new building reflects the firm’s evolution and the positioning it has consolidated in Iberia, adding that the new headquarters will enable more integrated working, stronger collaboration between teams, and a better environment for both professionals and clients.
