Andersen and Eversheds Sutherland have advised on the closing of a €33M Series B investment round in Trucksters startup. Andersen has advised Trucksters and Evershed has advised Volvo Group Venture Capital.

The Andersen team advising on this deal was formed by (pictured from left to right) Javier Bustillo, Partner in the M&A area, together with Teresa García and Mayo Torres, Senior Associate and Associate, respectively, in the same department.

This transaction has been led by Eversheds Sutherland Madrid’s Corporate legal director, María Ramalle Quiñones, supported by Mercedes Olmedo González (Associate, Coporate).

Trucksters, the Spanish startup that optimises long-distance freight transport, has secured backing from Volvo Group Venture Capital, Continental’s venture capital unit, the European Investment Bank (EIB) and FondICO.

Through this capital injection, the company is looking to boost the electrification of its routes, strengthen its team, acquire new businesses and further expand into new long-haul corridors.
