Andersen advises on AG and Aviaction integration

Andersen in Spain has advised on the integration of AG Universe and Aviaction, aircraft maintenance platforms backed by private equity firms Magnum Capital Industrial Partners and Artá Capital, respectively.

Andersen acted as adviser to Magnum Capital Industrial Partners on the transaction, which creates a leading MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) services platform for commercial and business aviation. The integration aims to strengthen the group’s operational capabilities, generate new synergies and accelerate its international expansion. Jose Capilla, founder of AG, will remain a shareholder in the new group and will take on the role of executive chairman.

The legal advice was led by Carmen Mozún Muñoz, partner in Andersen’s Corporate and M&A practice and member of the Transport, Mobility & Logistics group, together with Jaime Arca Jaudenes, senior associate in the Corporate and M&A department.
