Andersen and Evergreen Legal on Estepona affodable homes
Andersen has advised Obranueva.com, a national developer specializing in real estate project advisory and management, on its designation as delegated developer for the construction of 125 affordable rental homes in Estepona, Málaga. Evergreen Legal has advised A&G Global Investors on this deal.
The real estate project is driven by A&G, which has allocated €43 million to its development through its vehicle A&G Real Estate Sustainable Developments SICC.
The team
The advisory work required coordination between Andersen’s Real Estate and Corporate/M&A teams, led by partners Eduardo González and Antonio Cañadas respectively. Beyond the design and incorporation of the vehicle responsible for the housing development, the joint effort also covered the acquisition of the land on which the project will be built and the negotiation and signing of a Forward Funding Agreement for its financing.
The Real Estate team, led by Eduardo González, partner, and Enrique Pérez, Senior Associate, worked in coordination with the Corporate/M&A team, led by Antonio Cañadas, partner, and Teresa García, senior associate, along with José Miguel Jaime, senior Associate in the Public Law department at Andersen’s Málaga office.
On Evergreen Legal’s side, the operation was led by partner Ignacio Freire, head of corporate/M&A; Luis Vegas, M&A partner, and Diego Pérez de Nanclares Bizcarrondo, real estate partner, with the suport of associates Marella Gómez-Barreda de la Gándara and Guillermo Albarracín Campos.
