Andersen advises Impar Capital on the takeover bid for 98% of VBARE Iberian Properties SOCIMI
Andersen has advised Impar Capital on the acquisition of 98% of VBARE Iberian Properties SOCIMI. The company, valued by Impar Capital at 36 million euros, informed BME Growth on December 5 that Impar Capital’s offer, made through its investment vehicle Singular Prime Investment SICC II, had received acceptances representing 99.3% of the shares to which it was addressed, equivalent to 98% of the capital.
VBARE Iberian Properties is a Socimi incorporated in March 2015 dedicated to investing in residential real estate assets in the metropolitan areas of the main Spanish cities. It currently has properties valued at more than €70 million. 97% of its real estate portfolio is in Madrid; 71% within the M30, and 60% of them are located in Chamberí.
From Andersen, the transaction has been led by Guillermo Muñoz-Alonso, partner of the banking and finance area of Andersen and Jorge Cuello, director of the corporate area. Juan Pablo Gutiérrez, partner of the tax area, and Jorge Martínez Alemán and Patricia Olivo, director and associate of the same team, also participated. Finally, from the real estate area, César Morales, partner, and Virginia de la Fuente, associate, participated.
