Allen & Overy nabs senior associate from Garrigues

Allen & Overy has lured Jose Antonio Segovia Rodriguez from Garrigues, where he has been a senior associate for the last six years in the Labour area

José Antonio Segovia Rodríguez (pictured) will be a senior associate in the Labour law practice at Allen & Overy, effective June 1. Specialising in Labour and Employment Law, he joined Garrigues in 2015 after working in several law firms as Osborne Clarke and Galhis Abogados (Madrid, Paris), in the Labour law area.

In 2018 and 2019, he worked in Garrigues Lima office (Peru) in the Labour and Employment law department, honing his knowledge of Labour and Employment Law with a view to advising foreign clients in Spain.

Throughout his professional career, he has participated in many important projects, both at home and abroad, and is currently a legal advisor with proven experience in the following areas, among others: Litigation; collective Labour relations; Restructuring and collective layoffs; reports and Legal opinions; Outsourcing and Insourcing processes; Mergers and Acquisitions; Labour Due Diligences, advice on Social Security; Welfare provision schemes; senior management; Remuneration and Compensation systems, Labour union elections; Company Policies and Codes of Ethics; Gender Equality Plans; specific training for employees and executives; expatriates Legal regime; etc.

José Antonio Segovia Rodríguez is a member of the Madrid Bar Association and also of the Paris Bar Association (Barreau de Paris).
