Alfonso Ugarte and Ignacio Inigo join Cuatrecasas US team
Cuatrecasas has moved the Chilean lawyer, Alfonso Ugarte (pictured left) to New York to lead the firm’s Latin American corporate practice in the United States and Canada.
By incorporating Ugarte as a resident partner in the US office, the firm aims to promote new business opportunities in international investments, especially in the markets of Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru, where Cuatrecasas has its own offices.
Ugarte joins the team that already includes M&A partners Antonio Baena (pictured centre left) and Diego Pérez-Yarza (pictured centre right), and will be joined by the spanish associate, Ignacio Inigo (pictured right), a specialist in restructuring, distressed transactions and finance.
