ACC honors Javier Ramirez among outstanding In-house leaders

The Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC), a global legal association representing more than 45,000 members in more than 100 countries, recognized members, chapters, and networks demonstrating outstanding leadership, service, and dedication to the in-house counsel community at the 2023 ACC Annual Meeting, held in San Antonio, Texas.

ACC President and CEO, Veta T. Richardson and newly elected ACC Global Board Vice Chair, Cristina Gonzalez, CLO at Staples, celebrated the accomplishments of the following honorees:

  • Robert I. Townsend, Jr., Member of the Year Award: Javier Ramirez Iglesias, head of advocacy, ACC Europe, VP legal & associate general counsel, regions litigation, HP Inc.
  • Jonathan S. Silber Network Member of the Year Award:
    • Yosr Hamza, director, legal & compliance, Middle East, Gartner.
      • Program chair, Women in the House Network; membership engagement chair, International Legal Affairs Network; secretary and DEI chair, New To In-house Network; and
    • Tara Young, general counsel, Spearmint Energy,
      • Chair, Energy Network.
  • Outstanding Network of the Year Award (Small Category): Health Law
