Abreu partner honoured by Barcelona Bar Association

Pedro Pais Almeida, a partner at Lisbon-based law firm Abreu Advogados, has been honoured by the Barcelona Bar Association for his work promoting the legal profession at an international level.

The association awarded Pais Almeida with a medal that, in particular, recognised his efforts as president of the UIA (Union Internationale des Avocats).

Explaining the award of the prize, the association said: “This distinction is a tribute to the personal and professional trajectory of Pedro Pais de Almeida, as well as a recognition of his dedication as president of the UIA, promoting advocacy internationally, and the relationship between lawyers and institutions.”

Pais Almeida said: “”I want to share this medal with all the members and collaborators of the UIA, because without their hard work, this recognition would not take place.”
