Abreu litigation partner leaves for SRS Advogados

SRS Advogados has recruited Abreu Advogados partner Natália Garcia Alves.

Garcia Alves – whose expertise includes commercial and banking litigation – has joined SRS’ dispute resolution department.

Garcia Alves started her career in 1995 at SRS, which at the time was known as Grupo Legal Português.

She joined Abreu as a partner in 2008 and remained with the firm for 10  years.

José Carlos Soares Machado, partner and head of the arbitration, mediation and dispute resolution department at SRS, said the hiring of Garcia Alves’ meant the firm was “greatly strengthening one of the core areas of the firm”.

SRS now has 22 partners.
