Abreu Advogados has advised Vortal on the acquisition of Nexus Information Technology
Abreu Advogados has advised Vortal SGPS, S.A., the Portuguese company that forms part of the Swedish group Byggfakta Group Nordic HoldCo, on the acquisition of Nexus Information Technology.
The Spanish company Nexus IT was owned by the French group Publicis Groupe S.A. and is the leading provider of pre-award and eTendering solutions for the public sector in Spain. With this acquisition, Byggfakta Group reinforces its leading position in Spain and expands its portfolio of eProcurement solutions to the public sector.
Byggfakta Group is a leading Swedish software and information company within the construction industry, with a proprietary cloud-based service and a fully integrated data and software platform.
The Abreu Advogados team involved in this transaction was led by Manuel Santos Vítor (pictured), partner and co-coordinator of the Corporate and M&A practice area. The transaction also counted on the support of Cláudia Santos Malaquias, from the Corporate and M&A practice area at Abreu.
