Abreu advises April on the sale to Royse group
Abreu Advogados advised Auto Progresso Industrial Lusitânia (April) on the sale of the company’s entire business to Rodamientos y Servicios (“Royse”), part of Axel Johnson International’s Power Transmission Solutions group. With this transaction, the new entity will be called April Royse Unipessoal LDA. This strategic operation will allow Royse to consolidate a significant presence in Portugal, while April will benefit from Royse’s solid relationships with clients, partners and suppliers, states Abreu.
Founded in 1986 on the outskirts of Lisbon (Sacavém), April is a company specializing in mechanical and electromechanical transmissions. It stands out for its vast experience in mechanical transmission products such as chains, transmission belts, couplings and conveyor parts. It currently covers the entire national market as well as some foreign markets, with a vast stock of products and accessories to supply most Portuguese industrialists with the maintenance, repair and manufacture of much of their equipment.
