Ortego & Cameno advises Queka on Expertia deal
Ortego & Cameno has advised private equity fund Queka Real Partners on the acquisition of a majority stake in Expertia Formación Profesional, an officially recognised training centre specialising in high-demand technical trades. The transaction represents the fourth investment of Queka Real Partners’ second fund, Queka RP PEF 2, which has total commitments of €194 million.
Expertia is a technical training institute offering practical, officially certified training in trades such as electricity, plumbing, welding, air conditioning, lift maintenance, solar panel installation and industrial maintenance. The company combines its official certifications with its own job placement service aimed at securing employment outcomes for its students.
Through the transaction, Queka Real Partners will support Expertia’s expansion plans to build a nationwide network of advanced technical training centres, in a market context marked by strong demand for skilled labour in sectors such as electricity, air conditioning and renewable energy.
