Deloitte Legal promotes María de las Casas and Miguel Bercedo to director
Deloitte Legal has promoted María de las Casas and Miguel Bercedo García to director, strengthening its senior team across digital law and regulatory and compliance matters.
De las Casas has been promoted to director of digital Law, a move she announced through LinkedIn. She has developed her career at Deloitte Legal advising on legal matters related to digital transformation and technology.
Bercedo, meanwhile, has also been promoted to director at Deloitte Legal, after more than eight years with the firm. He specialises in regulatory and compliance matters, with a particular focus on payment services and digital assets regulation.

De las Casas has developed her career specialising in digital law and technology-related legal matters, advising companies on the regulatory challenges arising from the digitalisation of their businesses.
Bercedo García joined Deloitte Legal in 2018 as an Associate and was promoted to Senior Associate in 2019. He has now taken on the role of Director, based in Madrid.
Before joining Deloitte Legal, he spent more than five years as a lawyer at Linares Abogados, where he began his legal career in 2012.
