Deloitte Legal Telles advises Nors on Ascendum
Deloitte Legal Telles advised Grupo Nors on the acquisition of exclusive control over Ascendum Camiões, a company dedicated to the sale and technical assistance of Volvo trucks in Portugal. The transaction strengthens Grupo Nors’ presence in the national heavy vehicle market and in the Volvo brand’s distribution and assistance segment.
The deal covered dealerships in the Centro region of Portugal and included the integration of around 80 employees. As part of the transaction, the Deloitte Legal Telles team provided legal advice to Grupo Nors during the negotiation of the sale and purchase agreement and ancillary contracts, including the preparation and negotiation of the contractual documentation required to complete the transaction. The operation resulted in a reorganization of Volvo Trucks’ activity in Portugal.
