DLA Piper promotes Ana Isabel Vieira to partner in Lisbon
DLA Piper has promoted Ana Isabel Vieira to partner in its Lisbon office. Vieira has been part of the firm’s corporate and M&A department since 2014, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, regulatory matters in the banking and insurance sectors, and financing and restructuring work. Her practice centres on complex domestic and cross-border transactions in the financial services, insurance, energy, life sciences and technology sectors.

Global partner promotions
The Lisbon appointment forms part of a broader round of partner promotions at DLA Piper, which has elevated 62 lawyers to partner globally. Corporate practice recorded the highest number of new partners with 21 promotions, followed by Litigation with 12, Finance, Projects and Restructuring with 8, and Intellectual Property and Technology with 7, while Real Estate added five new partners, Regulatory and Government Affairs four, and Employment, Investment Funds and Tax two each. By region, the United States accounted for the largest share of promotions with 24 new partners, followed by Continental Europe with 14, the United Kingdom with 9, Canada with 6 and Australia with 5.
