Cuatrecasas adds tax partner in Valencia
Cuatrecasas has brought on Jorge Gómez de Membrillera Ortuño as a partner in its tax practice group, based in the firm’s Valencia office. The hire is aimed at strengthening the firm’s tax advisory capabilities across the Levante region, with a focus on corporate taxation, family business, real estate transactions, M&A, and corporate restructurings.
Gómez de Membrillera Ortuño brings extensive experience advising companies across sectors including industrial, real estate, automotive, agri-food, and distribution. His expertise spans general corporate taxation, wealth and estate tax planning, and business reorganisations, having participated in numerous M&A transactions of varying scale and nature.
The profile
He holds degrees in Law and in Business Administration from the Universidad de Murcia, is a member of the Colegio de Economistas de Valencia, and is listed in the Best Lawyers directory under the Tax-Valencia category. He is also a regular speaker at seminars and conferences organised by chambers of commerce, professional associations, and universities, and has authored articles in specialist tax publications.
