Ashurst advises Equitix on Cofides €150M co-investment
Ashurst has advised Equitix on Cofides’ entry as a strategic co-investor in a Spanish renewable energy hybridisation platform, with a commitment of up to €150 million.
The investment, made through Cofides’ FOCO fund, gives the Spanish state-backed investor an indirect stake in the “Summit” platform, which integrates onshore wind, solar PV and battery storage projects.
The team
The Ashurst team was led by Andrés Alfonso, with support from Tannia Rodríguez and Marta Timoner. The Luxembourg team was led by Jean-Philippe Smeets, while English law aspects were handled by Gaby Jones.
