José Ramón Casado launches litigation boutique in Madrid
José Ramón Casado (pictured), a former partner at Ashurst and Baker McKenzie, has launched JRCasado – Estudio Legal, a boutique firm based in Madrid focused on litigation and arbitration.
The firm advises on complex commercial disputes in both judicial and arbitral proceedings, including institutional and ad hoc arbitrations.
Litigation and arbitration focus
Casado has more than 25 years of experience in dispute resolution. He previously served as head of litigation and arbitration at Baker McKenzie and as a partner at Ashurst.
His experience includes domestic and international proceedings before institutions such as the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the Corte Civil y Mercantil de Arbitraje (CIMA), and the Madrid Court of Arbitration.
In addition to his legal practice, he is a lecturer at Carlos III University.
