Selier hires Pedro de Pablos as tax partner in Madrid
Selier has hired Pedro de Pablos Soldevilla as a partner in its tax practice, as the firm moves to strengthen the area amid growing regulatory complexity and an increase in tax disputes.

The profile
De Pablos joins the firm after more than 30 years in tax law. Most recently, he served as managing partner of the tax practice at Cremades & Calvo-Sotelo, where he led specialised teams and advised on complex tax proceedings involving international taxation and corporate restructurings. Earlier in his career, he also held senior tax positions at Zaforteza-Romero Rey Abogados.
He holds degrees in Law and Business and Economics from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE). Alongside his practice, he has developed an academic career as a lecturer at the Complutense University of Madrid and has also collaborated with institutions including the Centro de Estudios Garrigues and the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria.
De Pablos is a member of the Asociación Española de Asesores Fiscales (AEDAF), the Asociación Española de Derecho Financiero, the Spanish branch of the International Fiscal Association, and the Grupo de Expertos de Delitos Económicos.
