Auren appoints Carles Ramírez as new partner in Barcelona

Auren has appointed Carles Ramírez as a new partner in the economic-financial area of its legal division in the Barcelona office.

Carles Ramírez holds a degree in Business Administration and Management, specialising in Finance and Marketing, and a Master’s degree in Information Technology Management (MGTI) from Universitat Ramon Llull. He has also completed the Senior Management Development Programme (PDD) at IESE Business School. With a 30-years experience, mainly in technology-based companies, he has held positions of responsibility and has supported family-owned businesses through generational transition, modernisation, and the definition and implementation of corporate strategy.

In addition, over the past 15 years he has specialised in financial and strategic advisory services for SMEs and family businesses at all stages of their life cycle, as a partner at InverTEAM and InverTIM, his last position before joining Auren. He will now provide this advisory work at Auren through the legal division, integrating legal expertise with an economic and business perspective.

Auren’s president, Mario Alonso, highlighted that “the Barcelona office is a strategic hub for Auren, and the arrival of Carles Ramírez strengthens our ability to offer clients advice that combines his deep understanding of the business reality with the corporate growth alternatives offered by today’s market, something that is increasingly in demand”.

José Luis Galipienso, director of Auren’s Barcelona office, noted that “his executive experience and deep knowledge of the business fabric fit perfectly with the firm’s positioning, where we seek to provide comprehensive solutions with a practical, strategic approach and a strong focus on client proximity”.

Auren has an office in Barcelona with a team of 150 professionals providing services across the legal, audit, consulting and corporate divisions. Following this appointment, Auren Legal’s division in Barcelona now has eight partners: Alfons Companys, José Luis de la Cruz, Josep María Bargalló, Daniel Aroca, Josefina Huelmo, Lluís Basart and Alex Massaguer, now joined by Carles Ramírez.
