Antas da Cunha Ecija adds five new lawyers
Antas da Cunha Ecija has announced the expansion of its legal team with the integration of five new lawyers: Sérgio Fagundes Conceição, Inês Dias de Pinho, João Vaz Teiga, Marta Albuquerque Coelho, and Luís Correia da Silva.
Sérgio Fagundes Conceição and Inês Dias de Pinho will reinforce the Real Estate & Urban Planning practice. Sérgio Fagundes Conceição joins from Cuatrecasas as a senior associate. He has experience advising clients on the structuring of their investments and in executing related real estate transactions, particularly high-profile residential, commercial, and tourism projects. Since 2018, he has served as a guest lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, specialising in family and succession law.
Inês Dias de Pinho has recently worked at RFF Lawyers and joins Antas da Cunha Ecija as an associate. She has participated in numerous due diligence processes for corporate acquisitions and real estate transactions, advising clients on investment agreements. She also has experience negotiating contracts and providing transactional tax analysis. She holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University (Lisbon) and is completing a postgraduate degree in Corporate Governance at the Private Law Research Centre of the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon.
João Vaz Teiga and Luís Correia da Silva will join the Immigration & Citizenship practice as associates. They focus primarily on residence authorisations and related procedures before the Portuguese Immigration Authorities, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. João Vaz Teiga previously worked with LegalSquare and Ana Bruno & Associados. Luís Correia da Silva comes from Dower Law Firm, where he coordinated the Criminal, Offences, and Family & Succession law departments. He holds a law degree from the University of Porto, with additional short courses in Legal Medicine and International Humanitarian Law & Human Rights, a master’s in Criminal Law, and in 2025 completed a Criminal Compliance course at the Institute of Economic and European Criminal Law.
Marta Albuquerque Coelho interned at Bankinter and DLA Piper and will join as an associate in the Intellectual Property practice, focusing on copyright and related rights, image rights, trademarks, domain names, licensing agreements, and IP litigation management. She also supports the Privacy & Cybersecurity practice, advising on data protection and compliance matters. She holds a Master’s in ICT, Social Networks & Intellectual Property from ESADE Law School (Barcelona) and has completed courses including “Theory and Practice of Personal Data Protection” at NOVA School of Law.
