Andersen appoints Oihane Inchausti as new labor partner
Andersen has appointed Oihane Inchausti as a new labor partner in its Bilbao office. Joining from Deloitte Legal, where she spent the past 14 years as counsel, she specialises in labour and social security law, advising national and international companies.
Oihane Inchausti holds a law degree from the University of Deusto (economic specialisation) and a master’s degree in legal practice (exclusive track) from the University of the Basque Country and the “Pedro Ibarreche” Legal Practice School of the Bizkaia Bar Association.
Over the course of her more than 20-year career, she has advised companies and corporate groups on matters relating to collective and individual bargaining, as well as the management of dismissals and collective redundancy procedures. She has also acted as counsel in labour and contentious-administrative court proceedings and in labour inspection matters. In addition, she has taken part in numerous corporate transactions, carrying out labour and social security due diligence and advising on the employment implications of such deals. Finally, she has solid expertise in the negotiation and monitoring of equality plans, as well as in the negotiation and implementation of protocols on workplace harassment, sexual harassment and harassment on grounds of sex, and measures to protect the LGBTI community.
With this appointment, the firm aims to strengthen its team in the Northern Region, where it has had more than 20 professionals since starting operations in 2024. “Her arrival reinforces our commitment to the highest quality in labour advice. Her profile combines technical specialisation with a career marked by professionalism and rigour—qualities that fully align with the standards of excellence that define Andersen”, states José Vicente Morote, managing partner.
Sharon Izaguirre, partner at Andersen and head of its Northern Region office, added: “Oihane Inchausti’s experience advising companies based in the Basque Country and Navarre brings very valuable knowledge of our region’s business fabric. Her track record, defined by solid specialisation and close, hands-on practice with local companies, represents an exceptional boost for the labour area and for Andersen’s growth in the Northern Region.”
