EY and Ortego&Cameno on stake acquisition in Euro Frits

EY Abogados advised Aviko, a company part of Royal Cosun group, on the acquisition from Valmiera Capital of a major stake in Spanish frozen snackables specialist Euro Frits. Ortego&Cameno Abogados has advised the sellers’ side.

With the transaction, Aviko aims at strengthening its position in the plant-based snackables segment. EY Abogados supported the company with legal, tax and labor services throughout the operation, both during the due diligence stage and in the acquisition.

The EY’s team was led by corporate law partner Francisco Silván and senior manager Nacho Sevilla, with the support of a multidisciplinary team on the matter, together with senior Miguel Borrás.

The Ortego & Cameno Abogados team was composed of partner Luis Ortego Castañeda, together with corporate and M&A lawyers Ernesto Pedrosa and Álvaro Sánchez-Arcilla Artiñano.
