Linklaters advises on €300M JV between Carlyle and Q-Living

Linklaters Spain has advised The Carlyle Group and Q-Living Real Estate on the creation of their joint venture to invest €300 million in the development of approximately 1,600 affordable rental homes in Spain, which will operate under the Qube brand. According to Linklaters, this is a significant transaction for the growth of the residential rental market and the promotion of affordable housing in Spain.

The team was led by tax partner Alejandro Meca together with managing associate Carlos Olmedo and associate Belén Agrasar González. The real estate aspects were led by Adolfo Guerrero, head of Real Estate, together with managing associates Santiago Alfonsetti López, Carlos Gil Mesino and Rosario Bernáldez Iglesias.
