EY advises Growth Partners Capital on Grupo Aspasia investment

EY Abogados has advised Iberian private equity firm Growth Partners Capital on the acquisition of a 25% stake in Grupo Aspasia through its portfolio company Academy SLYou. Aspasia is a leading Spanish education group specializing in vocational and non-formal training.

Grupo Aspasia operates more than 50 vocational training centers across multiple autonomous communities in Spain. Its offering is focused on non-regulated education, delivered both in-person and online, and also includes the management of regulated vocational training (Formación Profesional – FP) centers.

EY Abogados provided comprehensive legal and financial advisory services throughout the transaction. The multidisciplinary team was led by Susana Gómez Badiola (Corporate/M&A Partner) and Rosa Cañas Lorenzo (Corporate/M&A Director), who coordinated legal due diligence and transaction support.

The tax aspects of the deal were advised by Elena Sánchez (Tax Partner) and Henar Ramos (Tax Senior Manager), while Raúl García (Labour Partner) and Alicia Díaz (Labour Manager) handled employment-related matters. Financial due diligence was carried out by Anca Butoi (Financial Due Diligence Partner) and Adrián Rincón (Financial Due Diligence Director).
