Lener and Uría Menéndez advise on the management buyout of Strohm Teka

Heritage B has successfully completed the divestment of its Strohm Teka bathroom business line through a management buyout (MBO), whereby the company’s management team has taken control of the business. This transaction has been supported by private investors and financed by international banks.

The management team, which has more than 20 years of experience in the bathroom sector, has been key to Strohm Teka’s sustained growth since its carve-out from Teka in 2018. Under its leadership, the business unit has experienced growth of more than 60% in these six years, consolidating its position as a benchmark in bathroom solutions in its main markets, Spain and Hungary, as well as internationally.

The transaction and the entry of new financial partners provides Strohm Teka, with more than 100 years in the bathroom sector and a presence in more than 50 countries, with a robust foundation to drive its strategic development, consolidate its position in the markets in which it already operates, and tackle new challenges of expansion and innovation.

Lener‘s M&A and Corporate department advised Strohm Teka’s management team. The transaction was led by Carlos García, partner, and lawyers Gerardo Baena and David Blanco.

Lincoln International and Uría Menéndez acted as advisors to Heritage B. Uría team has been formed by Pedro Ravina Martín (partner), José Cruz Padilla (senior associate) and Eduardo Esteban Santos (associate), from the M&A-Private Equity area in Madrid.
