Auren incorporates Gonzalo Blanco as a new labor law partner
Auren has hired Gonzalo Blanco, from Martínez Echevarría, as a new partner of Auren Legal, with the aim of strengthening the Labor Law practice.
The president of Auren, Mario Alonso, has highlighted that “the incorporation of Gonzalo reinforces our Labor and Employment area with a highly specialized profile and a solid background that will undoubtedly bring great value to our clients”. In addition, he added that “at Auren we are committed to a 360º comprehensive approach to people matters, in which our Legal and Consulting areas work together to offer coordinated solutions ranging from organizational planning to the most specialized legal defense”.
Gonzalo Blanco
Blanco has a degree in Law from CEU, a Master’s Degree in Labor Law from Centro de Estudios Garrigues and a Master’s Degree in People Management and Organizational Development from ESIC. He has more than 20 years of experience, both in the field of external advice and in the internal legal departments of large companies.
Throughout his career, he has worked in leading firms such as Martínez-Echevarría, PwC, Abdón Pedrajas, Cusán or Bufete Mas y Calvet, and has worked as a labor lawyer for the Mercedes-Benz Group in Spain since 2008. He was also responsible for Labor Relations at Generali Group Spain between 2009 and 2014.
With a solid background in labor law, Gonzalo Blanco has specialized in collective bargaining, collective dismissals, corporate restructuring and mergers. His practice encompasses collective labor relations, negotiation with works councils and unions, as well as legal assistance before the labor courts.
In parallel to his professional work, Gonzalo carries out an intense teaching activity at institutions such as Universidad Nebrija, Universidad Villanueva and Centro de Estudios Garrigues, and actively participates in professional associations such as FORELAB and ASNALA. He has been a member of the Madrid Bar Association (ICAM) since 2000.
