Uría Menéndez hosts first Edition of UM LegalTech Day in Madrid

Uría Menéndez has celebrated yesterday the inaugural edition of the UM LegalTech Day at its Madrid office — an event dedicated to exploring technological innovation in the legal sector. The event reflects the firm’s commitment to innovation and digital excellence in legal practice.

Organized by the firm’s Artificial Intelligence Group, the fair brought together some of the leading companies in the LegalTech space, including vLex, Parallel, Luminance, Relativity, Litera, iManage, and Scriptum AI. The event also featured insightful contributions from prominent industry experts such as Albert Ferré (Global LegalTech Hub), David Hurtado Torán (Microsoft Spain), and Jose Luis Antón (Gartner), who shared their perspectives on the ongoing digital transformation of the legal industry.

At the Uría Menéndez booth, attendees had the opportunity to explore some of the firm’s in-house technological tools currently in use, such as AutodocUM and MomentUM, along with other proprietary developments that are enabling our lawyers and clients to work more efficiently, securely, and collaboratively.
