Telles advises Fabridoce in restructuring process
Telles has advised Fabridoce – Doces Regionais, a player in the traditional Portuguese sweets segment, in a restructuring process and capital reinforcement by ActiveCap, within the scope of the Consolidar program, by Banco Português de Fomento.
Fabridoce has 130 employees and an annual turnover of 10 million euros, with 20% of its sales coming from exports to the United States and other European markets, particularly Spain and France. “With this operation, Fabridoce will continue its international expansion strategy and product diversification, using new production methods and recipes aligned with current consumer trends. It will also remain a key asset contributing to the development of the Portuguese economy”, states Telles.

Telles was involved throughout the entire process, which included conducting due diligence by the investor and, simultaneously, providing advisory services in the restructuring of Fabridoce, negotiating the investment agreement and shareholders’ agreement, defining and executing the terms of the corporate reorganization, as well as handling all the legal aspects involved in the transaction.
