Miranda announces 8 promotions and 4 new hires

Miranda & Associados has announced eight promotions and hires across several practice areas. In this context, Pedro Saraiva Nércio was promoted to coordinating associate; Margarida Costa, Sandra Tavares Magalhães, and Tereza Garcia André were promoted to principal associate; Duarte Mota, João Pires Teixeira, and Nasser Bahadoorali advanced to senior associate; and José Diogo Sampaio was promoted to associate.

At the same time, the tax, real estate, corporate & commercial, and labor practice areas were reinforced with new hires: Joana Graça Moura, returning to Miranda as a principal associate in the tax practice; Luís Pinho Leite, as an associate in corporate & commercial; Íris Paiva, as an associate in real estate; and João Bertholo Meireles, who joined the labor practice and the team that supports the firm’s activity in Equatorial Guinea.

According to the firm, this is a natural outcome of the firm’s investment strategy in its team, aimed at responding to the expansion of its activity in Portugal and internationally. “It is especially rewarding to recognize the merit, technical competence, and dedication of each of these colleagues, and in doing so, honor the trust they place in our project.
