Uría Menéndez and Garrigues advise on the acquisition of a majority stake in Spain-based P4Q
Uría Menéndez and Garrigues have advised on the sale of a majority stake in Spanish company P4Q by Talde Private Equity to Kinematics, a US-based portfolio company of Angeleno Group specialising in developing motion control technology
P4Q is an industry leader in electronics for solar tracker controllers, industrial solar tracker controllers, industrial automation, sensors and cloud-based monitoring based in Spain and operating in Europe, America and Asia.
The sale was made by Talde Private Equity, which after six years as a shareholder, has sold its stake to Kinematics. With the sale, P4Q will be integrated into the Kinematics Group, enabling it to better serve the world’s leading solar tracker OEMs with an expanded global reach and a unified motion control solution that simplifies installation, commissioning and maintenance.
