Cerejeira advises Porto on public employer agreement

Cerejeira Namora, Marinho Falcão has advised the Porto Municipality in negotiations with various trade unions representing the Municipality’s workforce, with the aim of amending and joining ACEP No. 98/2015. The negotiations took place over the past six months and culminated in the signing of the agreement at a ceremony held on October 3rd at the Porto City Hall.

The new collective agreement

The amendment to the ACEP, which binds the Porto Municipality, introduces changes to matters related to overtime, night shifts, and vacation days, among other topics. Notably, there was an increase in the number of trade unions signing the new collective bargaining agreement, which also extends the representation to a larger number of workers.

The negotiations conducted by the Porto Municipality were advised by the labor team at Cerejeira Namora, Marinho Falcão, led by founding partner Nuno Cerejeira Namora (pictured left) and including Pedro Condês Tomaz, Tatiana Marinho, and Margarida M. Pereira.
