Javier Esteban Appointed as New CIO of ELZABURU

Javier Esteban Guzón has joined ELZABURU as the new Chief Information Officer (CIO) with the aim of strengthening the firm’s corporate innovation strategy, leveraging technology for new business models, and promoting automation through the implementation of AI in its processes.

With a degree in Business Administration from the University of Valladolid and an Executive MBA from the Instituto de Empresa (IE), he brings extensive experience in technological consulting and digital transformation. Prior to this he has worked with entities as Deloitte, E&Y, and Indra and held the position of CIO at Previsión Sanitaria Nacional (PSN), where he led the digital transformation of its insurance business model.

Throughout his career, Esteban has played a key role in various projects focused on identifying and implementing technological applications and information security systems, acting as the bridge between corporate strategy and new technologies to optimize business development.

As the new CIO, he will drive ELZABURU’s ongoing digital transformation by focusing on the use of technology to enhance efficiency and improve the client experience. “My goal is to make technology an intrinsic part of every area of the firm’s business. We are implementing a new technological model with tools based on automation and AI, which allows us to offer a unique, top-tier service to our clients,” said Javier Esteban.
