2.9 Million New Marketing Jobs to be Created by 2027

As companies increasingly rely on creative teams to achieve success, executives are recognizing the growing importance of creativity. According to a LinkedIn report, around 6 out of 10 managers believe that soft skills like creativity are now more valuable than hard skills. This shift is driving people to seek out training that fosters creativity, while marketing departments are actively seeking these profiles, which are essential for building a competitive brand image and strategy.

Fabien Pecot, a professor at TBS Education-Barcelona, explains that “brand management has always required analytical techniques and theories to interpret data, but now we’re seeing a comeback of the more creative and human side.” This resurgence is reflected in the demand for marketing professionals, especially those with digital skills. According to recent data from the World Economic Forum, marketing professionals, particularly those specializing in brand management, are among the top ten most in-demand profiles from 2023 to 2027, with an estimated 2.9 million new jobs expected to be created in this field.

“The automation of many technical tasks and the growing demand for more emotional approaches in marketing make it even more critical to have creative minds,” Pecot adds. In line with this, TBS Education-Barcelona has identified three key branding trends for 2024 that will drive the continued demand for brand management experts: emotional branding, AI in branding and new design trends.

To keep up with these trends, it is vital to have training programs. With more than 6,000 students across its campuses in Toulouse, Barcelona, Casablanca, and Paris, TBS Education is a truly global institution. Its international student body hails from over 80 countries, and its alumni network includes 52,000 graduates worldwide.
