Legaltech company Legau launches operations in the US

Legau, a Portuguese legaltech company founded in 2021, is launching its operations in the US and will introduce itself to the market during the legaltech event ILTACON 2024 (August 11-15). The company leverages generative AI to securely support the full document drafting cycle (research, planning, creation, revision) within the software where attorneys normally work (Word and Outlook) and integrated with the systems more often used by law firms (partners of Microsoft, iManage, and NetDocuments).

Drafting solutions

“We are excited to bring our smart drafting solution to the US market, and there is no better place to celebrate this than at ILTACON 2024,” says Luís Alves Dias (pictured), CEO and co-founder of Legau, a former associate at Linklaters and Uría Menéndez. “Our software is already helping our clients recover an average of 22.1% of their legal drafting time, and 75% of lawyers report an increase in job satisfaction. We look forward to offering the same level of innovation and efficiency to US law firms.” According to Dias, Legau is the first Portuguese company selected globally to participate in the ILTACON StartupHub.
