Simmons & Simmons incorporates Emma Morales as Partner

Simmons & Simmons continues its growth and expansion in the Spanish market with the addition of new partner Emma Morales to the Madrid office, where she will promote the litigation and arbitration practice. With nearing twenty partners in Spain, this high-profile recruitment strengthens the law firm’ litigation and arbitration practice where Morales will work together with Ana Velasco in the role of Supervising Associate.

Prior to this, Morales was managing associate at Linklaters and counsel in the litigation and arbitration department at A&O Shearman in Madrid. With more than 20 years of experience in the legal sector, Morales is highly regarded in the fields of corporate law, commercial and financial contracting, as well as in the construction and energy sectors. She has advised a wide range of clients, including financial institutions, investment and litigation funds, private equity firms and IBEX-listed companies.

In addition, she is an expert in cassation and procedural infringement appeals before the Supreme Court, consolidating her reputation as a leading lawyer in her field. Her commitment to excellence extends to her work as a CAM arbitrator and as a university lecturer at IE.
