RSN guides Mano family’s full textile acquisition
RSN Advogados provided legal counsel to the family of entrepreneur Mário Mano in acquiring 50% of the shares in ATB – ACABAMENTOS TÊXTEIS DE BARCELOS LDA. and ETEVIMOL – EMPRESA TEXTIL DE VILARDO MONTE LDA., both companies co-founded by the entrepreneur. With this transaction, aimed at strengthening their presence in the European textile market and ensuring the continuity of Mário Mano’s legacy, the family now holds the entirety of the share capital in these companies.
The group’s new configuration
From now on, both sons do Mário Mano, Ricardo Mano will serve as CEO of ATB and Tiago Mano will serve as CEO of ETEVIMOL. ETEVIMOL will be relocated to ATB’s premises in Mariz (Barcelos Municipality), with a planned minimum investment of 5 million euros to modernize its machinery for the creation of alternative products and to increase the number of jobs. The RSN team responsible for the transaction was led by José A. Nogueira (pictured), the managing partner of the firm, and included Joana Barbosa Moreira, associate lawyer, and Carolina Cabages, solicitor.
