Uría Menéndez advises on the sale of a number of technology platforms to IBM
Uría Menéndez has advised Software AG on the sale of a number of technology platforms to IBM. The transaction has required a complex asset divestiture and simultaneous closing with more than 50 jurisdictions involved, and in which the Spanish subsidiary of Software AG had a very relevant role in several of them, as the parent company of the businesses in several Latin American countries, in addition to the Iberian businesses.
