Squire, the first law firm to officially participate in the Madrid Pride Parade

Squire Patton Boggs will be the first law firm to officially participate in the Madrid Pride Parade with MiraLES magazine, a leading media outlet for lesbian and bisexual women.

On Saturday, July 6, the streets of Madrid will once again be dressed in the rainbow colors that represent the diversity of the LGTBQ+ community in celebration of Pride. This year – under the theme “Pride and Right” – Squire Patton Boggs will “proudly” join community members and allies by sponsoring and riding on a float alongside MiraLES, a leading media outlet for lesbian and bisexual women.

Beyond sponsorship, the firm’s goal is to support and promote initiatives that help raise awareness of every dimension of diversity.

“We are very proud to be the first law firm to officially participate in Madrid Pride hand in hand with MiraLES magazine,” says Rocío García, corporate partner and representative in Spain of the firm’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion team.

García adds “Diversity, equity and inclusion are fundamental pillars of Squire Patton Boggs. As lawyers our work is naturally oriented to the pursuit of justice and compliance with the law. This includes fighting for equal rights and the effective enforcement of that equality, regardless of one’s sex, gender identity or sexual orientation. We believe that officially participating as a firm in the Madrid Pride Parade 2024 is the way to physically express our values and our message of support and awareness.”
