Linklaters advises FairWind on Wind1000 Acquisition
FairWind, a Danish multinational providing comprehensive solutions for the installation and maintenance of onshore and offshore wind turbines worldwide, has signed an agreement to acquire the Galician firm Wind1000 Global Holding. FairWind has been controlled by the German fund Triton since 2021.
Linklaters, with a team led by partner Carmen Burgos (pictured), with support from counsel Belén Lavandera Palacios, Celso Méndez, associate Moisés Benbunan Ferreiro, and junior associate Olivia Martínez Ribó, has advised FairWind on the acquisition of the Spanish group, specialized in providing services related to the installation and maintenance of wind turbines and auxiliary infrastructure in wind farms with presence, mainly, in Southern Europe and South America.
