GA_P advises on the €35m green loan to Wallbox
Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has advised a syndicate of financing entities formed by EBN Banco, the Instituto de Crédito Oficial (ICO), the Institut Català de Finances (ICF), the Compañía Española de Financiación del Desarrollo (Cofides) and MoraBanc in the granting of a 35 million euros green loan to the Wallbox Group, which manufactures electric chargers and is headquartered in Barcelona.
The Wallbox Group will use the funds obtained to, among others, the expansion and development of measuring equipment, the improvement of its software, the expansion of its plant in Barcelona and the development of investment projects in the United States.
The GA_P team was formed by Guillermo Guerra, partner of the commercial practice, together with José Francisco Canalejas and Irene Medina, associates of the banking and finance practice.
