The Gaïana Group, French leader in the development of agri-food software (wine and spirits, horticulture and agriculture), acquires the Spanish company Ayanet TIC, an IT consulting firm specialized in the agri-food and distribution sector.
The operation is part of Gaïana’s external growth strategy and will enable the group to start its international deployment (Spain, Italy and Portugal) and add new solutions based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
This new offering aimed at vertical farming completes the offering covered since the acquisition of the company ASAPE in November 2021.
This acquisition also allows Gaïana to open the Spanish market to wine and horticultural solutions (3rd largest market in Europe after France and Italy).
Ayanet TIC was founded in 1985 and is managed by Juan Carlos Marín Bernad and Rafael Auría Ayerbe. The company mainly develops management solutions, based on Microsoft ERP, specialized in the agri-food and distribution sector. It has a strong geographical presence in Spain with offices in Zaragoza, Seville, Palencia and Sigüenza. After the transaction, Mr. Auria Ayerbe will continue to lead Ayanet TIC, in close collaboration with Gaïana’s management.
Gómez Acebo & Pombo has advised Gaïana with a team formed by Fernando de las Cuevas, Diana Linage, Inés López, Miguel Azpeitia and Raúl López.
